Quick Update Post

Happy 2020!

Sorry for the long break in posts. It has been busy. Just to catch everyone up on the book front:

  • The Second Life of Mr. Hunt series is now available at Park Road Books in Charlotte NC. It is a wonderful bookstore. Stop and in and check out their large selection of books.
  • Book 2 is available on Audible and is once again narrated by the great narrator Matt Haynes.
  • I have finished writing book 3 and I am currently into my fourth edit. I will have a few more rounds, beta readers and then off to the editing professionals. If all goes to plan, it will be released later this year.

I recently tried a BJJ class after not training in any martial art in five years. Yes, it was painful, but I will hopefully get back into shape quickly.

I am looking forward to the warm weather and will make a better attempt at getting the 1970 Mustang out. I think I had it out twice last summer and I missed a lot of nice cruises. I think I will also work on getting a power steering and brake system on it.

As for the 501st legion, I am going to focus on dressing as a Sandtrooper for most of the events this year, and I plan on building a heavy weapons trooper.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the books or writing. The questions help me to think more deeply about the characters. One question turned into a short story that is posted on the website. (http://gerritovereem.com/short-stories/)

Look for other short stories to come out after book 3 is released later this year. I am also working on a timeline of major events in the series history.

That is my quick update for now.

Talk to you later,

Gerrit

Wonderful Weather

It happens every year. A few nice days in March the weather gets nice. I have not driven my mustang since December, so I move it to the front of the garage and drive it to work. Then BAM! Weather changes to the extremes. Guess it’s back to waiting to drive it until April.
